US Flank Company, 1814 Uniform

The US didn't typically designate "flank" companies like the British, but the 21st Infantry in the Niagara campaign did. They were considered elite and tucked their trousers into their gaiters to distinguish themselves. These troops are in the late war uniform consisting of the tombstone shako and blue coatee with minimal lace.
