Whiskey-soaked gambler and braggart, constantly telling tales of glorious frontier exploits of his youth. Modeled loosely after Texas Jack Ohmohundro, a friend of Wild Bill Hickok. Also a pretty good facimile of the historical Judge Roy Bean (not the Paul Newman version).
