Turkey Creek Johnson

An Earp ally who appears in the history of Tombstone. Anyone with a knowledge of revolvers knows you never do what this character is doing with his pistol, allowing the flare in front of the cylinder to blast nearby flesh. However, this comes from a legend about him recounted on Wikipedia:  After a dispute over poker, two assailants "were both trying to kill him with multiple pistol shots – their mistake was trying to use a 'quick draw' while moving towards Johnson. Their spray of shots went wild. Johnson simply turned sideways to make himself a smaller target, raised his opposite arm to use as a gun rest and took a bead on each man, killing them with one shot apiece."
